NURTURING RESILIENCE THROUGH THE PANDEMIC

THIRD CONFERENCE OF ROMANIAN AMERICAN PROFESSIONALS

June 5th 2021

Panel of professionals in legal counseling, development, and public policy:

The second panel of the annual conference was that of professionals in legal counseling, international development, and public policy. The first presenter in this panel was Carlton Fields Attorney Mr. Emil Hirsch, an experienced lawyer with many decades of experience in assisting Romanian political refugees during the communist period and who in later decades was a successful lobbyist on behalf of many governments throughout Eurasia. He provided a historical perspective on legal immigration over the last century and what amounted to a brief checklist of dos and don’ts for any diaspora entity seeking to engage in lobbying on behalf of Romania.
