Opening Plenary Session: June 4th 2021



The fourth honored guest of the conference was the Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission for Educational Exchange Ms. Erica Lutes who presented on transatlantic research opportunities afforded by “The Fulbright Schuman Program: Research Opportunities for US and EU Citizens.” European level transatlantic cultural diplomacy is at the very core of the program and Ms. Lutes used the opportunity to encourage Romanians to apply for research grants hosted in the US or for American citizens to apply for cross-cultural research projects in Romania or in any of the 27 member states of the EU. Masters, doctoral or post-doctoral applicants of any age are encouraged to apply.
