As a surprise intervention the host invited Prof. Cristina Salca Rotaru from the law school of Transylvania University in Brasov to speak about the “Ethical Values in Nowadays Society 2021” conference hosted simultaneously in Romania. That conference focused on establishing a nationwide code for university ethics and a council among a consortium of universities to improve the prospects of research collaborations. Participants at the conference in Romania were invited to attend the IRF annual conference as an opportunity to connect with the scientific diaspora.
