The Romanian American Literary Circle (RALC) - Arts and Culture Council

The next session of RALC is scheduled for Sunday October 11 at 8pm ET. Cristina Bejan passed on the baton to Alina Stefanescu who will moderate the follow-up sessions this season. The group discussions will be facilitated in English and participants are of course welcomed to share their work published in Romanian. The meeting will last an hour and a half, during which five participants will share their work for the first fifty minutes, followed by forty minutes of open discussion, questions, support, and feedback among registered participants.

To sign up as a reader, please email Alina at rainscented@gmail.com mentioning your name and what you hope to read. Each reader will have ten minutes to read and share their work or current projects. Reader spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis to the first five interested readers based on emails. There will also be a wait-list for readers. The session will include a discussion regarding the prospects of a live or recorded first public Romanian American Literary Circle Reading as a virtual event. This will give self-selecting participants a chance to share their work publicly. The RALC is a by-invitation group which intends to be open and inclusive. You are welcomed to invite people to bring their contributions to this platform.
